A special note: This disposable camera houses undeveloped film taken over the course of years during my first and only other long term relationship of nearly 15 years. While I was unable to find the exact date this piece was created, my Amazon purchase history list the marbles as May 16, 2022. Upon completion the piece was hidden away high up on a cupboard shelf until October 2023. Discovered by my now partner Franklin, who requested to keep it, “you are an artist” he told me. I had postposed discarding this piece I’d once felt embarrassment over and now it found it’s way into a focal point in my partners then home and now in our new shared home. I love this piece, it surprised me that was a journey itself. Additionally, May 16th is Franklins birthday <3
